About Myself

My photo
Hi, my name is Yo Bo-Han, I came from Taichung. I am 19 years old this year. Regularly, reading and exercising are my favorite interests, watching movies is also fascinating to me. The books I usually read are several kinds of magazines, such as CommonWealth, CommonHealth, and XXL(National Basketball Association), and Jin Yong’s novels, The Eagle-shooting Hero, The Giant Eagle and its Companion, and The Smiling Proud Wanderer are included. They’re his masterpieces which are popular and well known among all people. Everyday, I get up early, doing exercises on my self-training list, those may be jogging and playing basketball. Furthermore, all kinds of movies are fascinating to me. Actually, I can spend all day long watching movies, and it has become one of my weekly routines. By doing so, I can actually realize different cultures in the island, and broaden my horizon in this process… bla bla bla, all these are some excuses that I take so much time to enjoy movies, ha ha! Briefly, my relections after seeing the movies are my blog topic. Thank for your reading!

Batman

Batmans are a series of movies adapted from American comic books, and there are three films in its, Batman Begins, Batman The Dark Knight, and Batman The Dark Knight Rises.
The leading role, Batman, was all played by Christian Bale in the three films. Besides, each of them has different villains. For example, Scarecrow is a psychiatrist who is good at using fear to conduct people’s consciousness, Joker tries to make many chaos and likes to see people murdering each other. And the last one is Bane, whose name has an assonance as “pain”. Obviously, he symbolizes the citizens who live in the low status of the society, and want to overthrow the rules in the society nowadays.
In my opinion, the second one ”Batman The Dark Knight” is the most representative work in the series. It reflects that most people are selfish and live just for profits today. However, people still have pity for each other even if facing certain deadly risk. Although the true cruel appearance of human mind was revealed, it finally ended up with a warm atmosphere---people all gave up the initiative chance to kill others in order to survive.

Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump” was a classic movie, which won Academy Award for Best Picture, Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and Academy Award for Best Directing in 1994 Oscar. In addition, it was also one of the movies which can be called “masterpieces”.
Tom Hanks played a kind and innocent man named Forrest Gump in this movie. In his childhood, he was diagnosed that he could never walk as normal people and the intelligence quotient he had was poor 75. However, his mom kept her patience on him, trying anything she could do to help Forrest’s growing process.
On the other hand, Forrest didn’t give up himself, either. Although he was not good in study and getting along with others, he still made some sincere friends and went through many obstructions because of his kindness and persistent. Even if the ending of the movie isn't perfect, the story is rather beautiful that still can move anybody to tears.

The Bourne Supremacy

The Bourne Supremacy
Have you ever watched the series of Bourne Franchise? You must not miss them! The first volume is The Bourne Identity, the second is The Bourne Supremacy, the third is The Bourne Ultimatum, the latest one is The Bourne Legacy. Each of them has amazing content, and they all connected.
In the four volumes of Bourne Franchise, I love “The Bourne Supremacy” the most, because it conferred the leading role in various aspects, such as hatred, love, doubt, and frankly confronting. The leading role named Jason Bourne, who was played by Matt Damon, was once a CIA operator. For some reasons, he was betrayed by the organization he worked for, and was promulgated that he would be killed. Then, he began to seek the dominator behind the scence, trying to understand the whole development of the case and take revenge. In the process, he had lost his memory and beloved girlfriend. Can he sustain to lose something more?

The Vow

It was a movie which was adapted from a true story. Leo and Peggy were once a couple. They fell in love a year ago and just got married. Everything seemed perfect; however, in a car accident, Peggy’s brain was severely injured, and she even forgot everything that had happened in the past, including Leo.
No matter what treatment the doctor tried, Peggy could not restore her memory. How heartbroken Leo was! He decided to try whatever he could do in order to remind Peggy about their sentiment. But, the process was not as smooth as Leo thought. The worst thing was that Peggy’s parents and ex-boyfriend came to obstruct him by concealing some secrets. Finally, Leo found that it didn’t work to adhere obstinately, making friends with each other again was the only method he could recaptured Peggy’s heart...

Safe

The movie I watched this week was “Safe”. I borrowed the DVD from NCCU Library because of its high comment.
There was a Chinese girl named Mei, who can precisely memorized whatever she had read. Once, Mei was threatened to memorize a row of codes. Then, the Russian gang, Chinese Mafia, and the New York policemen were all commanded to catch her, getting the codes she had remembered. However, the Chinese girl met Luke, who was played by Jason Statham, during her escape at the train station. Since losing all he had, Luke decided to find the huge amount of money behind the codes with Mei.
In the process that Mei and Luke came through the arduous barrier to survive, their communication became more and more close. In addition, each of them also saved the other one’s life in the desperate situations, and finally opened a new page of life.

Shutter Island

Leonardo DiCaprio played a policeman in the movie. He was commanded that he should go to Shutter Island, which imprisoned several mental patients, to investigate a case about a patient’s running away.
During his investigations, he found a huge scheme in the back of the case. The case concealed a military secret which was most cruel after the two World Wars: The US government conducted a research in order to control the communists by mental treatment.
However, when he wanted to open the horrible secret to all the world, the clues( about he was also a mental patients ) one after another he found gradually made him distrust himself! The ending of the movie didn’t give us a conclusion. It may also be that the policeman gave up opening the secret, admitting the fact that he was a mental patient. It also may be that he was certainly a mental patient, all that all the case, secret, and clues were created by his brain. That is the reason why I’m so fascinated with the movie. It gives whoever watches it limitless space to imagine!
